Real Madrid are pushing to sign Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich this summer.
Bayern are expecting the left-back to leave because they are yet to come to an agreement with him over a new contract.
The Bundesliga club does not want to let him leave for free when his current deal expires in 2025, so a departure at the end of the season looks increasingly likely.
There are reports that Davies has verbally agreed terms with Real Madrid – but Sky Germany report there has been no official offer yet from Spain.
Real Madrid are prepared to pay around £34m (€40m) to £43m (€50m) to sign Davies, but are planning to enter the bidding nearer to £30m (€35m).
