Amadou & Mariam are set to take center stage at the 2024 MTN Bushfire festival in eSwatini’s picturesque Malkerns Valley from May 31 to June 2, stepping in for Nneka, who had to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances. Known for blending Malian desert blues with influences from rock, hip hop, and disco, the duo has been spreading their Afropop vibe for nearly five decades. Their international collaborations include Damon Albarn, Santigold, and others.
Joining them is Da Capo, a renowned South African house producer celebrated for his fusion of African rhythms and electronic beats. Also headlining the Ballantine’s Firefly Stage are Daliwonga and Vigro Deep, both prominent figures in the amapiano genre.

Other artists on the lineup include Thandiswa Mazwai, Musa Keys, and an array of international acts, ensuring a diverse and vibrant musical experience. Additionally, the Africa Rising Music Conference will feature performances by ALBI X and Rita Kamale.
