The pathologist who conducted an autopsy on the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, stated that the cause of death couldn’t be determined. Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Wahab Shittu, informed reporters in Lagos State on Wednesday that the pathologist informed the coroner that the body had decomposed by the time the examination was performed.

Shittu explained, “According to him (the pathologist), the cause of death cannot be determined because, by the time they conducted the test, the body had decomposed, and they can’t determine the cause of death.” He emphasized that the pathologist stressed the importance of exhuming the body within 12 hours of burial to prevent decomposition. Consequently, the cause of death remains unclear and suspicious.

Additionally, Shittu mentioned that the pathologist suggested that Mohbad’s death might be linked to a reaction to certain drugs administered before his demise. However, the pathologist couldn’t confirm if these drugs directly caused his death.
