This ad set the stage for her surprise announcement of the highly anticipated “RENAISSANCE: Act II” album.

During Super Bowl Sunday, Beyoncé treated fans to a series of teaser videos for the long-awaited second part of her 2022 “RENAISSANCE” project. To the delight of her fans, it seems that “RENAISSANCE: Act II” will be released much sooner than expected. This upcoming album marks Beyoncé’s eighth studio album and promises to be a country-themed masterpiece.

Taking to her Instagram account, Beyoncé dropped the exciting news along with two new songs from the album. In the ad, she confidently declares, “Ok, they ready — drop the new music. I told y’all the Renaissance is not over.” The final teaser video reveals the album title, “Act II,” and the official release date. The teaser also provides a snippet of the country-infused track, “Texas Hold ‘Em,” which references the poker game and Beyoncé’s home state.

Shortly after the announcement, the two songs, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages,” became available on streaming services, starting with Tidal before being released on other platforms. “Texas Hold ‘Em” features a captivating blend of acoustic guitars, bass drums, and Beyoncé’s powerful vocals, while “16 Carriages” transitions from a country sound to an orchestral arrangement.
