Before We Shine 2: The Cremation of Care is the mixtape that took Ko-Jo Cue beyond Kumasi. It came out in January 2013, almost a year after its first single, “Winning”, and the copy on streaming services dates from a 2016 upload. It has 18 tracks, 16 plus two bonus songs, and runs for about 69 minutes.

Flowking Stone is on “Aden Koraa”, whose video got regular play on Ghanaian television. Klu appears on “First Class” and on “All In” with Trix, Edi-Young on “Go Getter”, Cabum on “Somtin Dey” and Kay-Ara on “We Dey Form”. Production came from Klu, Kid Ziggy, Kuvie, Alberto, Cabum and Peewee. The title track sits near the end, ahead of “Regrets (Closure)” and “Love Me Not”.
