KANI: A Bantama Story is Ko-Jo Cue’s longest studio album, released on 5 November 2025 through rain. Labs under licence from Bantama Blues. It has 17 tracks and runs for about 64 minutes, and it goes back to the Kumasi suburb that has run through his music from the start. “Bantama Blues 3” continues a series that began on The Shining in 2014.
“Tontonte”, with AratheJay and the highlife singer Ofori Amponsah, and “Onipa Hia Mmoa”, with Ayisi, were released ahead of it. Camidoh is on “You Are”, Kay-Ara on “Mr Eben”, Genna on “Big Boy”, Korshi T on “Grew Up Fast”, S3kyerewaa on “Angel / Pente Interlude” and Marince Omario on “Dreams”. Jiire Smith opens it on “Fruit of the Womb”, and TSIE closes it on the near six-minute “Gold Dust”.
