Lagos Common Entrance Exam Set to Kick Off Tomorrow – Don't Miss These Crucial Details

The Lagos State Examinations Board has announced that the Lagos Common Entrance Screening Test 2026 will begin on Friday, August 21, and run until Monday, August 24. This year's screening will be held at the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC), Magodo, Lagos, the only designated venue.

Exam Schedule and Venue

The exam will start at 8 a.m. daily at the PSSDC, Magodo, Lagos. Candidates are expected to arrive early at the centre, bringing their printed examination slips with them. The Board has advised candidates to check the information on their slips before the examination and take the printed documents to the centre.

The Board has assigned the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC), Magodo, Lagos as the only location for the screening exercise. This is a departure from previous years when the examination was held across several centres. Candidates should report to the designated centre on their scheduled examination dates.

Important Instructions for Candidates

The Board has reminded candidates that they are expected to maintain proper conduct throughout the screening exercise and follow the rules guiding the test. Candidates are also advised to prepare in advance, print their examination slips, and verify the details before their scheduled examination days. The official Lagos State Examinations Board portal also provides access to its Screening Test/Model College service.

Adebayo Orunsolu, the Registrar of the Lagos State Examinations Board, has wished candidates a "successful and hitch-free Common Entrance Screening Test" on behalf of the Board. The Board has also urged candidates to take note of the examination dates, time, and venue, and make adequate arrangements to arrive at the centre early.

Preparation and Arrival

The Board has advised candidates and their parents to make arrangements to arrive at the PSSDC, Magodo, early to avoid last-minute delays. Candidates who completed their registration can now access the examination portal to print their examination slips. Parents and guardians are also advised to confirm the examination details with their children ahead of the test, particularly the assigned date and time.

The examination authority has also reminded candidates that they are expected to comply with the examination guidelines to ensure the exercise runs smoothly. The Board's advice is particularly important because the examination begins at 8 a.m. daily, and candidates should not wait until the last minute before leaving for the centre.

As the Lagos Common Entrance Screening Test 2026 is set to kick off tomorrow, candidates and their parents should be well-prepared to avoid any last-minute delays. The Board's instructions should be taken seriously to ensure a smooth and successful examination exercise.
