Nestlé Nigeria has opened applications for its 2026/2027 Community Scholarship Programme to support eligible Science and Technology students in Agbara, Sagamu, and Abaji. The scholarship is open to students studying Science and Technology-related subjects in these three host communities.
Over 250 Students Supported Since 2020
Since launching in 2020, the programme has supported over 250 students, with more than 70% of tracked beneficiaries graduating or maintaining First Class honours. This achievement demonstrates the long-term impact of sustained educational support, according to Nestlé.
Scholarship Details and Requirements
The scholarship is available to eligible students from Agbara, Sagamu, and Abaji. For tertiary institution applicants, candidates must be studying a Science or Technology-related course, have at least five credit passes in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), and complete the online application before the August 28, 2026 deadline.

Victoria Uwadoka, Corporate Communications, Public Affairs and Sustainability Lead at Nestlé Nigeria, said the initiative is part of the company's belief that businesses should also contribute to community development. Applications and Verification Process
Interested students are expected to complete the online application before the August 28, 2026 deadline. The application process involves verification by schools, community unions, and community leaders to ensure the selection process is fair and transparent.
A Vote of Confidence in Future
One of the programme's beneficiaries, Kazeem Fatai, recently graduated from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) with a First Class Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics Engineering). "Receiving the Nestlé Community Scholarship was more than financial support; it was a vote of confidence in my future. Knowing that Nestle continued to invest in my education year after year motivated me to stay committed to my goal of graduating with a First Class."
