Former ‘Generations’ Star Sophie Ndaba Hospitalized After Injury

On Sunday, former ‘Generations’ star Sophie Ndaba announced that she had been hospitalized after breaking her ankle. Sharing a video from her hospital bed, Ndaba updated her followers about the surgery she had undergone for the injury.

Detailing the incident on Instagram, Ndaba explained that she was fitting a dress when she suddenly slipped and fell, leading to the broken ankle. She described the swift nature of the accident, saying, “One minute I’m walking, and the next, I have a broken ankle.” She mentioned that her focus on the dress distracted her, causing the fall.

Ndaba took this moment to deliver an inspiring message to her audience. “I want to remind you that some storms are not there to break you; I think some storms are there to slow you down. Some storms are there to restructure you,” she stated.

Despite her predicament, Ndaba expressed gratitude for her life and situation. “I’ve decided to embrace it because when I look at where I’m coming from, I’m like dear Lord, what is a broken ankle? I still have my life, I still have my humour, and I still have so much to be thankful for, so I want to take this opportunity to thank God. It could have been worse.”

Ndaba is on the road to recovery and will soon be returning home, although she will need to keep her cast on for another six weeks.
