“This is my payback time,” Liz Anjorin says as she reveals plan against Iyabo Ojo despite court order
Liz Anjorin is not backing down. The Nollywood actress used another live session on Friday to double down on her public attacks on Iyabo Ojo, telling her rival directly: “This is my payback time, Iyabo. I just achieved my aim.”
Anjorin’s latest outburst comes days after a Lagos State High Court issued an interim order restraining her from posting about Ojo’s family. The order, dated September 2, 2026, bars Anjorin from publishing, posting, circulating, uploading or broadcasting pictures of Rakeem, the son of Priscilla Ojo and her husband Juma Jux, on her social media platforms. It also restrains her from publishing or broadcasting editorials concerning the family.
The order followed an ex parte application filed by Priscilla, Juma Jux and their son. It remains an interim measure pending further proceedings in the suit.
Anjorin is not treating the court order as a stop sign. In her live session, she said she is content with where the matter is heading, claiming it has been her plan all along to make Ojo’s children feel uncomfortable.
“I have destroyed you, Iyabo Ojo. I make your children feel the heat. Those tablets you have been giving people, I open your mouth and force it down your throat,” she said.
She framed the feud as a personal victory. “This is where I am going; this is my time. If I did not take this route, I may not be able to conquer Iyabo Ojo. Is it easy to nullify her in all the courts she has been going to?”
The public war between the two actresses has run for about two years, mostly played out on social media. It has already produced a N1bn defamation suit filed by Ojo against Anjorin, with both women trading allegations and accusations online.
The latest escalation followed fresh posts and comments from Anjorin about Priscilla, Juma Jux and Rakeem. Those posts triggered the court action.
Anjorin, however, has questioned the legitimacy of the case. She argues that the Ojo family publicised the court document before serving her at home, a move she says undermines the entire proceeding.
“Your case na dead on arrival. If you post court letter on any platform before serving person wey you wan go serve, that court case na fake court case,” she said in the Friday live session.
Her legal argument is straightforward: service must come before publicity. By posting the document first, she claims, the family handed her grounds to challenge the order.
The feud shows no sign of cooling. Anjorin has made clear she sees the court order not as a boundary but as evidence she has gotten under her rival’s skin. Her repeated use of the phrase “payback time” suggests she views the current moment as the climax of a two-year campaign.
The interim order remains in place pending further proceedings. Anjorin has not indicated any intention to comply with it. Instead, she is using her platform to declare the case dead on arrival and to continue her attacks.
Her target, Iyabo Ojo, has not responded publicly to the latest live session. The N1bn defamation suit she filed against Anjorin is still making its way through the courts.
For now, Anjorin is sticking to her position. She says she has achieved her aim. She says she has conquered her rival. And she says she is not done.
