How to Access Your Certificate
To download your certificate, follow these steps: visit the WAEC Digital Certificate Platform through the official WAEC website, enter your examination details and other required identification information, complete the verification process, including the One-Time Password (OTP) if prompted, view and download your digital certificate, and save it securely or share it directly with schools, employers or other institutions that request it.
The WAEC Digital Certificate Platform offers two major services: Certificate Access, which allows candidates to view, download and share their certificates, and Certificate Confirmation, designed for universities, employers and other organisations that want to verify the authenticity of a candidate's WAEC certificate.
Background on the 2026 WASSCE
The 2026 WASSCE for School Candidates was conducted between April 21 and June 19, 2026, with candidates from more than 24,200 secondary schools participating. According to WAEC, 1,950,726 candidates sat for the examination, while 1,200,514 candidates, representing 61.54%, obtained credits and above in at least five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
