Ired is the first project from Kumasi artist Kwartengg. It carries a 2019 release date and he put it out himself. There are seven songs, no guests, and it runs for about 22 minutes.
It opens with “Ghana Man” and closes with “Father Father”, which sits highest of the seven in his Spotify top tracks. “Yawa” and “Dreams and Prayer” are on that list too, and “Yawa” has a video that Kwartengg directed himself. The other songs are “Holy Water”, “Akwasi” and “Weytin”. Apple Music dates “Weytin” to September 2018, earlier than the rest of the record.
