The Breakthrough Beat is a five-track instrumental EP that DopeNation released on 12 January 2021. It runs for about 16 minutes and works as a showcase of the twins as producers rather than as artists.
Each track is named after the style it covers: “Drill Beat”, “Afrobeat”, “Reggaeton”, “Highlife Beat” and “Contemporary Beat”. There are no vocals and no guests, just the range of sounds that made B2 and Twist in-demand producers before they were stars in their own right.
