THE IMMERSION is the debut EP by Ghanaian rapper Kamafo, released through Asuafuo Inc on 21 February 2025. It has six tracks and runs for about 18 minutes.
Kamafo said on release day that most of the songs were recorded more than five years earlier. Jordanbeatz produced, mixed and mastered the whole EP. George Agyeman, Purple-Child Creations and Apollo Management are credited as executive producers.
It opens with “The Last Record”, one of two songs he carries alone. Kweku Smoke joins him on “Fie Nipa”, the same pairing as “Mayeshe” in 2023. Nsogbu Malaika is on “It’s Up”, QV on “Ten Toes” and FreddyWyse on “Nazareth Nyame”. The closer, “Shutup!”, had already come out as a single in September 2024.
