Kamafo is the stage name of Berfenda Duodu, a Ghanaian rapper signed to Asuafuo Inc. He makes hardcore rap and also answers to Drencho, the name on his Instagram page. His YouTube channel carries the line “Moving hoodbois to ghetto heaven”.

His earliest credits are guest verses. He is on Dabright’s “Emergency” from 2021 and on a run of BlvckGoldNation records with Jove Kente, among them “Sika”, “Free My Mind” and “Boss Chick”. His own singles started in July 2022 with “Odeshi Season 1”, and “Bread of Life” came that December. In September 2023 he shared the billing with Kweku Smoke on “Mayeshe”, from Smoke’s PLAYMAN. It is still the first song on his Spotify top tracks.

“Years of Tears”, “Warzone” with Kwame Yesu and “Shutup!” followed in 2024. His debut EP, THE IMMERSION, came out on 21 February 2025. It has six tracks, with Kweku Smoke, Nsogbu Malaika, QV and FreddyWyse as guests, and Jordanbeatz produced, mixed and mastered all of it. Kamafo said most of the songs had been recorded more than five years earlier. Since then he has put out “Off Hype” with il-lifa and NanaMilla, “On Yo Necks”, and “Hell’s Kitchen” with SC4 and QV.
