By Afro Yard July 27, 2026

Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has filed a ₦2 billion lawsuit against fellow rapper Odumodublvck (Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu) over alleged defamation, harassment, threats, and reputational harm. The lawsuit was initiated on July 7, 2026, through Blaqbonez's lawyers, Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors.

Blaqbonez Seeks ₦2 Billion in Damages

According to a legal memorandum, Blaqbonez's lawyers accuse Odumodublvck of engaging in a sustained campaign of defamatory online publications, harassment, intimidation, threats, and conduct that allegedly damaged the rapper's reputation and commercial interests. The suit further alleges that Odumodublvck repeatedly published or amplified statements referring to Blaqbonez as a "sexual abuser" and "sexual abusing bastard," claims which Blaqbonez's legal team describes as false, malicious, and defamatory.

The legal document states, "Our Client has suffered and continues to suffer significant loss and damage as a direct consequence of your unlawful conduct." Blaqbonez is asking the court to declare the publications defamatory and to issue several orders against Odumodublvck, including a perpetual injunction preventing him from making or encouraging further defamatory publications or threats.

Request for Retraction and Apology

Blaqbonez is also seeking the immediate deletion of all alleged offending posts and related content across Odumodublvck's social media platforms. He is asking for a public retraction and apology to be published on his verified social media accounts and pinned for at least 30 consecutive days. Additionally, Blaqbonez wants a public notice directing Odumodublvck's supporters to refrain from harassing or intimidating him.

Aggravated Damages and Costs

The lawsuit also includes a claim for ₦500 million in aggravated damages, citing the alleged repeated and malicious nature of the publications. Blaqbonez is also seeking ₦50 million as the cost of the legal action, alongside any further relief the court may deem appropriate. The memorandum also references allegations of harassment, assault, battery, unlawful interference, and threats to Blaqbonez's safety, claims that are yet to be tested in court.

Odumodublvck's Response

At the time of publication, Odumodublvck has not publicly responded to the legal claims. The allegations contained in the court filing represent Blaqbonez's position, and the matter remains before the courts. The case is set to unfold in the coming weeks, with the court likely to review the evidence presented by both parties.
