A Lagos State High Court has ordered Nollywood actress Liz Anjorin to stop posting pictures of influencer Priscilla Ojo’s son, Rakeem, and to cease publishing editorials about the family on her social media accounts.
Justice Yetunde Adesola Adesanya issued the interim order on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, following an ex parte application filed by Priscilla Ojo, her husband Juma Mkambala, and their son, Rakeem. The applicants asked the court to prevent Anjorin, her representatives, or anyone acting on her authority from publishing, circulating, or broadcasting Rakeem’s pictures on her Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and TikTok pages.
The court granted the application as prayed. The order restrains Anjorin from “publishing, posting, circulating, uploading and broadcasting the 3rd Applicant's pictures” on the social media accounts named in the application. Those accounts include @lizzyanjorin_originallawal, @lizzyanjorin_original, @lizzyanjorin_legal_mrs lawal, @yeyemesho_luxuryfabric1, and Lizzyanjorin2 on Facebook.
The court also ordered the actress to “cease broadcasting, publishing and posting editorials” about the applicants on her social media platforms. The restrictions remain in place pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice in the suit.
An ex parte application is considered at an early stage without the respondent being heard. The court also directed that the case file be returned to the Registry of the High Court of Lagos State for reassignment to the appropriate division.
The order is the latest development in a long-running dispute between Anjorin and Priscilla’s mother, actress Iyabo Ojo. The feud has repeatedly spilled onto social media over the years.
The dispute recently drew Priscilla in after Anjorin made fresh comments about her and her son. Priscilla subsequently threatened legal action against the actress. Anjorin later claimed she had substantial evidence against Priscilla and Iyabo and insisted she would continue to speak about the matter.
The latest court order does not determine the allegations made by either side. It only places an interim restriction on Anjorin’s social media publications concerning the applicants while proceedings continue.
The case has drawn attention across the Nigerian entertainment industry, where the public fallout between Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo has been followed closely. The dispute has moved between personal accusations and public statements, with both actresses using their platforms to address the matter.
Priscilla Ojo, an influencer in her own right, married Juma Mkambala and the couple have a son, Rakeem. The court application lists all three as applicants against Anjorin.
The specific social media handles named in the order cover Anjorin's primary Instagram and Facebook accounts. The court's instruction applies to those accounts and any others under her control.
The interim order will remain in force until the court hears the full Motion on Notice. At that stage, Anjorin will have the opportunity to respond to the applicants' requests for more permanent restrictions.
Legal proceedings in the Lagos Judicial Division continue, with the case file set to be reassigned to an appropriate division for further handling.
