Edwin Eshun, aka Beeztrap KOTM, was raised in Santasi, Kumasi, where his family’s deep involvement in church music sparked his passion for the art. Inspired by his mother, sister, and his uncle’s recording studio in Cape Coast, music became an integral part of his upbringing.
Musical Beginnings
Eshun’s musical journey gained momentum during his time at Kumasi Anglican Senior High School, where he met producer Stichez, a key figure who would shape his career. Their collaboration led to the release of his early tracks, including ‘Abrabɔ Yɛ Hard’, which received warm reception on local radio stations.
