He made his name as a writer before he was a star. As a keyboardist he has played for Hugh Masekela and John Legend. He signed to Sarkodie’s Sarkcess Music and produced and co-wrote Sarkodie’s album Mary.

His own records include “I Do Love You” (2013), the album Matters of the Heart (2018) and Lighthouse (2023). He hosts an annual Shades of Love concert on Valentine’s Day and married Theresa Akwaboah in Accra on 3 May 2024. In October 2026 he released “Pressure” and then “Odo Ankasa” with Kwesi Arthur.
