Biography
DABIE BOMAYE, also known as Kwame Dabie and by the alter ego Hyena, is a Ghanaian rapper. His trap style mixes English, Twi and Pidgin with street stories, and writers have compared his approach to that of R2Bees’ Omar Sterling.
His first single, “KNACK”, came out in November 2021. EPs followed: The Purgatory Saga II (2022), 3:33 AM (2023), a four-track project with Big Jay and Mennel, and FALSE PROPHETS (2025). The producer JoeyOnTheTrack is a regular collaborator.
In November 2026 he released “ROADMAN 2” with AratheJay and appeared on KingPie’s “MILLIONZ BILLIONZ”. Little has been published about his life away from music, so this profile sticks to his releases.
