DBN Gogo

DBN Gogo is Mandisa Radebe, a South African DJ and producer born in Durban on 28 May 1993 and raised in Pretoria. She sang in school choirs and studied law at the University of Pretoria before DJing took over.

A set on Channel O’s Lockdown House Party in April 2020 put her on the map. “Khuza Gogo”, with Mpura, Ama Avenger and M.J, followed in March 2021 and went platinum. That year she released Thokoza Café with DJ Dinho and Break Through with Unlimited Soul. She also became the first South African in Spotify’s EQUAL programme. In 2022 she launched her own label, Zikode Records, with Universal Music, and played Coachella.

Her debut album What’s Real arrived in November 2022. “Funk 55” (2023), with Zee Nxumalo and Shakes & Les, reached number six and went five times platinum. Click Bait (2024) and The Godmother (2025) have kept her among amapiano’s busiest names on the circuit.
