Kofi Jamar

Kofi Jamar, born Derrick Osei Kuffour Prempeh, is a Ghanaian rapper, singer, and songwriter from Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. He rose to national prominence with his breakthrough hit “Ekorso,” which became one of Ghana’s biggest songs in 2021.

Known for his smooth delivery, lyrical versatility, and ability to blend hip-hop, drill, hiplife, and Afrobeats, Kofi Jamar has established himself as one of the leading artists of Ghana’s new generation.

He has released acclaimed projects including Appetite for Destruction and The Melodic Blueprints, with popular songs such as “Ekorso,” “Mi Dey Up,” “Dangerous,” “Amanfour Girls,” and “Forever.” Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists including Yaw Tog, Kweku Flick, Fameye, Kwesi Arthur, YPee, and Tulenkey.
