Biography
Kofi Mole is Edward Kofi Agyemang Amoah, a rapper and singer born in Kumasi on 16 April 1993. He went to Armed Forces Senior High Technical School and began a psychology degree at the University of Ghana before deferring it for music. Before the music paid, he cut hair to get by.
He came through with the No Gentlemen Allowed (NGA) crew and the GroundUp Chale movement. His 2018 single “Mensah”, with Kwesi Arthur, got him noticed. The same year Sarkodie brought him onto “Biibi Ba”, and he was named Next Rated Act at the 2019 3Music Awards. “Don’t Be Late” and the Aposor Love EP (2019) confirmed him as one of the most dependable voices in Ghanaian hip-hop.
His output is heavy: Spread the News (2017), #MoleMondays (2020), Knackaveli (2022), Toopeezy and GYE NYAME (2024), and Gangster Love Matter (2025). Singles include “Makoma” with Sarkodie and Bosom P-Yung. He also designs some of his own clothes.
