Biography
Ndu Browns, born Ndumiso Mdletshe, is a South African singer and songwriter from Ladysmith in KwaZulu-Natal. He is best known as one half of Blaq Diamond, the Afro-pop duo he formed with Danya Devs, whose 2020 album Umuthi cemented their place among the country’s biggest groups.
He launched his solo career with “Ubuhle Bakho” on 12 September 2025, his 31st birthday. The song, produced by Mulak with the isicathamiya group Bergville Green Lovers, mixes R&B, UK drill and Zulu choral roots. “I feel like I’m entering a new chapter in my life,” he said at the time.
Since then he has released “Uber Eats” and “Summer Rain (Phuma Langa)”, teamed up with Makhosi on “Thekwini” and “Soul Ties”, and joined Olivetheboy on “Maradona”. “Phakade”, with the Afro house producer Darque, came out as a single on 6 November 2026.
