Biography

Reggie, also known as Reggie Osei, is a drill rapper from Kumasi and one of the founding voices of the Asakaa movement. He started making music at school around 2017, inspired by UK drill acts like Russ Millions and Tion Wayne. After school he met O’Kenneth, who brought him into the crew.

His first drill track, “Big Flex”, featured O’Kenneth and Kawabanga. In 2020 he was on both of Asakaa’s breakout records, Yaw Tog’s “Sore” and Kawabanga’s “Akatafoc”. With O’Kenneth he released the joint EPs Straight Outta Kumerica (2020) and Straight Outta Kumerica II (2022). His solo projects began with 2 Times A Guy (2021).

Most High (2023) brought in Jay Bahd, O’Kenneth, Kwaku DMC, City Boy, Skyface SDW and Beeztrap KOTM. Chronicles (The First Supper) and How Did We Get Here followed in 2025, and GuyGuy Mmienu in 2026. He has also recorded “Don’t Be Shy” with Beeztrap KOTM and Medikal, and “Baby Nayoka” with Joey B.
