Biography
Seyi Vibez, born Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi on 12 July 2000 in Ketu, Lagos, grew up in Ikorodu and has become one of the leading voices of Nigerian street-pop. He debuted with “Anybody” in 2019 and first caught on with “Godsent” in 2020.
His first project, No Seyi No Vibez, came in 2021. Billion Dollar Baby followed in 2022 and carried his breakthrough single “Chance (Na Ham)”, which won him Best Street-Hop Artiste at the 16th Headies in 2023. The Memory Card EP opened 2023, and he has kept up a fast pace since with Thy Kingdom Come, Loseyi Professor, the Children of Africa EP and FUJI MOTO.
He was in the running for Best New International Act (viewers’ choice) at the 2024 BET Awards and finished 2025 as the second most-streamed artist on Spotify Nigeria. His 2026 album SWAGUU, released through NSNV Inc and EMPIRE, features Quavo on the title track.
