Zlatan

Zlatan, also known as Zlatan Ibile, is Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, a Nigerian rapper and singer born on 19 December 1994. He grew up in Ikorodu, Lagos, with family roots in Ijurin, Ekiti State, and named himself after the footballer Zlatan Ibrahimović because he first dreamed of playing football. At 19 he won the Airtel One Mic Campus Tour competition in Abeokuta. “My Body” (2017) with Olamide got him signed to Alleluyah Boiz Entertainment, and “Able God” with Chinko Ekun and Lil Kesh made him a star in 2018. “Zanku” came with a dance of the same name, and his debut album, Zanku (November 2019), is short for “Zlatan Abeg No Kill Us”. That year he featured on Burna Boy’s “Killin Dem” and signed with Coca-Cola.

He launched Zanku Records in January 2020 and released “Soro Soke” during the EndSARS protests. His later projects include Resan (2021), the Omo Ologo EP (2023) and Symbol of Hope (2025). “Get Better” with FOLA reached number 2 in Nigeria in 2025, and he features on “Nakupenda” with TxC, Davido, Shoday and Scotts Maphuma.
