Taiwo said hospitals had refused to treat him and disclosed that although he had secured an Indian visa, he was declared unfit to fly abroad for treatment. The family was not seeking financial assistance but wanted medical experts or anyone with the expertise to treat Ogogo.
Burial Ceremony Proceeds as Scheduled
Despite the emotional pain of losing a colleague and friend, the burial ceremony of Taiwo Hassan, aka Ogogo, proceeded as scheduled on Monday. The ceremony drew a large gathering of colleagues and loved ones who came to pay their final respects to the late actor. Ogogo's remains arrived in his Ilaro hometown ahead of his burial, following his death on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
