Medikal

Medikal, born Samuel Adu Frimpong, is a Ghanaian rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur from Sowutuom in Accra. He rose to prominence in the mid-2010s with his catchy rap style, confident delivery, and ability to blend hip-hop with hiplife and Afrobeats.

After winning the Best Discovery award at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards, Medikal established himself as one of Ghana’s leading rap artists.

Known for hit songs such as Too Risky, Ayekoo, Omo Ada, La Hustle, Stubborn Academy, and Planning & Plotting, Medikal has collaborated with artists including Davido, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, King Promise, KiDi, Criss Waddle, and Fella Makafui.

He is also the founder of AMG Beyond Kontrol, where he has continued to release chart-topping music and expand his influence across Africa. His consistency, commercial success, and energetic performances have made him one of the biggest names in Ghanaian hip-hop.
