Nandy, born Faustina Charles Mfinanga on November 9, 1992, is a Tanzanian singer, songwriter, actress, and entrepreneur. Known as The African Princess, she is one of East Africa’s most successful Bongo Flava artists.
She rose to fame with hit songs such as Nagusa Gusa, One Day, Aibu, and Njiwa, before releasing her debut album The African Princess in 2018. Her music blends Bongo Flava, Afrobeats, R&B, dancehall, and pop, earning her numerous awards and a strong fan base across Africa.
Beyond music, Nandy is a businesswoman and has served as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for water, sanitation, and hygiene in Tanzania.
