Zuchu

Zuchu, born Zuhura Othman Soud on November 22, 1993, is a Tanzanian singer, songwriter, and performer.

She is one of East Africa’s biggest music stars and is signed to WCB Wasafi, the record label founded by Diamond Platnumz. Zuchu rose to fame in 2020 with her debut EP, I Am Zuchu, and quickly became known for her blend of Bongo Flava, Afrobeats, R&B, and Taarab influences. She has released hit songs including “Sukari,” “Kwikwi,” “Cheche,” “Napambana,” “Honey,” and “Naringa.”

Her powerful vocals, consistent hit records, and captivating performances have earned her numerous awards, making her one of the most successful female artists in Africa.
