Y Pee, born Andy Agyemang, is a Ghanaian rapper, songwriter, and performer from Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. He is one of the pioneers of Kumasi’s modern hip-hop movement and has built a reputation for his hard-hitting rap style and street-inspired storytelling. Y Pee gained national attention with his breakout hit “Wonkonono” and has since released successful projects including Survival, PeeVolution, and THIS IS ATBK. His popular songs include “Wonkonono,” “Ewuraba,” “Shishi,” “Didi Me Botom,” and “Our Father.” Through collaborations with artists such as Kofi Mole, Oseikrom Sikanii, Kweku Flick, King Paluta, and Yaw Tog, Y Pee has established himself as one of the leading voices in Ghana’s drill and hip-hop scene.
