Biography

Ciza, born Nkululeko Nciza on 23 August 2001 in Benoni, Gauteng, is a South African singer and songwriter. Music runs in the family: he is the eldest son of the former record executive TK Nciza and Nhlanhla Mafu, the lead singer of Mafikizolo. He began writing songs at 15.

His debut single “Come Alive” came out in July 2020, followed by “Adje”. The 2021 EP Golden Boy Pack brought in Major League DJz, DJ Maphorisa, Abidoza and the Tanzanian singer Marioo.

His big moment came in 2025 with “Isaka (6am)”, made with Thukuthela, which topped the official South African chart. In October 2026 Tems and Omah Lay joined him on “Isaka II (6am)”, and in November he released “Lala Ngedwa” with Thatohatsi and Skillz through his own CIZARIO Records and the American label LVRN.
