Kweku Flick

Kweku Flick is Andy Osei Sarfo, a singer and rapper born in Kumasi on 16 May 2001, with family roots in Mampong. He finished at St. Hubert Seminary in 2020, the same year his music took off.

“Awake” was his first single, and “Money” (2020) made him one of the fastest-rising names in Kumasi. That year he was also on Shatta Wale’s “Ahodwo Las Vegas” and on Kweku Darlington’s “Sika Aba Fie”, one of the big songs of 2021. He sings mostly in Twi, moves easily between drill, highlife and Afrobeats, and usually opens his songs with “PAW”, short for Prayers Always Work.

Before the 2022 World Cup he teamed up with Smallgod on “Blackstars”, a supporters’ song for Ghana. He has recorded with Sarkodie (“Fire”), Amerado, Strongman (“Attack”), Kojo Cue, Kuami Eugene (“No Sleeping”) and Black Sherif. His album is King of Melodies, and he has picked up nominations at the Ghana Music Awards and 3Music Awards.
