Beeztrap KOTM “More Jollof”: the release
The copyright line reads “℗ 2026 WAY UP GANG ENTERTAINMENT”, and Apple files the song under Afrobeats. The title is the kind of everyday phrase that works on social media: jollof is the dish West Africa argues about, and “more jollof” is what you ask for when things are going well.
Rapperholic is Sarkodie’s annual concert, and the 2026 Kumasi edition was held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on 24 October. Footage of Beeztrap’s set with Sarkodie was shared online the following week. Releasing a single straight after the biggest stage of his autumn was good timing.
Who Beeztrap KOTM is
Beeztrap KOTM is Edwin Eshun, a rapper, singer and songwriter. Wikipedia describes him as a leading figure in the Asakaa drill scene who fuses drill with hiplife, hip-hop, Afrobeats and highlife. He started releasing music in 2018 with songs such as “Cinderella” and “Distance Relationship”.
He won Best New Artiste at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards and Next Rated Act at the 2024 3Music Awards. His debut album, Power, arrived in 2025 with guests including Sarkodie, Gyakie, Kwesi Arthur and Kuami Eugene. Sarkodie, Beeztrap and Kwesi Arthur also teamed up on “Bang Bang Bang” in February 2025, and in January 2026 he released a single with Reggie and O’Kenneth.
