Bogo Blay put out two records in four days in October. On 16 October he appeared on “Preach”, a single by the singer ELIJAH THE WORSHIPER. On 19 October came his own release, “Amazing”, featuring Prince Bright. It runs 3 minutes and 4 seconds and is self-released, with the lyric video on his YouTube channel a day before the stores.

Bogo Blay “Amazing” credits
The auto-generated YouTube upload, distributed by Ditto Music, gives the full picture. Lead vocals: Bogo Blay and Prince Bright. Producer: Fimfim. Composer: David Labran Bogo Blay. Lyricist: Bogo Blay. The copyright line reads “℗ Bogo Blay”, with no label in between.

Fimfim is becoming a regular partner. The same producer worked on “Achi Guda”, the single Bogo Blay released on 8 September 2026, alongside Isaac Adu Buxton. Two singles six weeks apart from the same beatmaker suggest that a working relationship is forming, and that more may be on the way.
The Bogo Blay voice
Bogo Blay was born Bogo Blay Labran David in Goaso, in the old Brong Ahafo Region. He raps and sings in Twi with a non-Akan accent that makes him easy to pick out on the radio. It has been his calling card since “Jango”, the song that introduced him, and it carried “Medicine”, his song warning about drug abuse, to viral status on TikTok.
“Zoom” and its remix followed, then “Street (Mawea Mawe)”, “Antoa” and “Serwaa”. In 2023 “Esther”, DJ Carcious’s single with Bogo Blay and Medikal, won DJ/Artist Collaboration of the Year at the Ghana DJ Awards, and he released the project Wailing Monster the same year.

Faith in the mix
“Preach” and “Amazing” together say something about where Bogo Blay is in late 2026. One is a gospel guest spot, the other a title that sounds like praise. His catalogue has always had a spiritual side: “Psalm 151” and “Blessed” are both in his run of singles. He is not a gospel artist, but he is comfortable with the language of church, as many Ghanaian pop artists are.
Prince Bright gets equal vocal billing on the credits, which points to a full duet rather than a short guest line. Apple files the song under Afrobeats.
Where to listen
“Amazing” is on Apple Music and the other major stores through Ditto. The lyric video, “Bogo Blay X Prince Bright – AMAZING”, is on his YouTube channel.
Start with the lyric video, then play “Medicine” to hear where that accent first caught the country’s ear.
