Biography
Fameye is Peter Famiyeh Bozah, a Ghanaian singer, songwriter and rapper born on 11 September 1994. He grew up in Accra, but his roots are in Bogoso in the Western Region. He rapped through his school days at Odorgonno Senior High and took part in MTN Hitmaker, then switched to singing.
His breakthrough was “Nothing I Get” (2019), a plain-spoken song about being broke and still trying. Its remix with Medikal, Kuami Eugene and Article Wan made it one of the biggest Ghanaian songs of the year. His writing, often about love, money and faith, has won him Songwriter of the Year and Highlife Artist of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards.
His albums are Greater Than (2020), with M.anifest, KiDi and Bisa Kdei, Songs of Peter (2022), with Kwesi Arthur and Ofori Amponsah, and Three Times of Peter (2024). His sound mixes highlife, hiplife and Afrobeats.
